Storytelling Workshops

Our storytelling workshops are immersive spaces where participants step into the world of imagination, empathy, and self-expression. Conducted across schools, NGOs, corporates, and community spaces, these sessions invite people from all walks of life to discover and share their stories. Through carefully crafted exercises, participants express their realities and imaginative worlds in diverse forms — writing, art, theatre, film, and animation. Each workshop is not only about telling stories but also about listening deeply, building connections, and finding meaning in everyday experiences. Whether with children, youth, or adults, every workshop becomes a journey of collective discovery.

Our Soulify journey began with the United Students Initiative, when Siddharth was invited by NID Ahmedabad to mentor 30 animation design students in 3D animation. Smriti, Siddharth, and Advait turned it into a family-led co-learning experience, driving from Delhi to Ahmedabad with their car decorated in Soulify banners and ideas.

Sensing distance and competition among the students, we redesigned the first week of the 4-week workshop into a space of vulnerability, catharsis, warmth, and friendship. Through sharing personal struggles, the students co-authored the book I Am Possible. This Inner Child Awakening process freed them from performance pressures and enabled them to grasp 3D animation in just four days.

From our experience, we learnt how "vulnerability facilitates oneness". And we designed a pedagogy called the Story Rainbow through which we can facilitate vulnerability while understanding the art of storytelling.

Our Soulify journey continued with Creators Connect — a weekly three-hour intergenerational session held every Sunday morning. Rooted in the Story Rainbow, these gatherings invited participants to reflect on leadership, self-love, compassion, dreams, challenges, strengths, limitations, and the world that shapes them. Each theme unfolded through imaginative stories, playful games, soulful songs, poetry, short film appreciation, drawing, stop-motion animation and skits, creating a vibrant space for expression and connection.

We also welcomed facilitators from across India to stay with us, enriching the community by sharing their unique skills, experiences, and knowledge.

Through our workshops, we travelled across India to share our process and pedagogy. From schools and NGOs to cultural institutions, government schools, and community spaces, each experience deepened our learning. Immersing ourselves in the diverse cultures of this rich land, we discovered how to live on the currency of kindness. Along the way, our journey was enriched by valued collaborations with institutions such as Bharatiya Gyan Vigyan Sammiti, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Krishnamurthy Foundation and Shikshantar Andolan. Every workshop became a space of co-creation — where participants shaped books, plays, or animated shorts as reflections of their stories and imaginations.
