Children's Morning Tragedy
What began as a simple question - what do you most want to talk about? - became a funny yet moving animated film on a shared childhood tragedy across the world.
Football's Goal
Every child has a dream. Sometimes it’s nothing more than wanting to play. But with challenges and pressures children face, even that can feel impossible. This film captures that struggle through a football with a goal.
Auroville, Pondicherry, India
During the Diwali holidays of 2025, we facilitated two week-long storytelling camps at Thamarai Learning Centre, Auroville, introducing children to the joy of imagination through stop-motion animation. Each week hosted a small, intimate batch of eight students, allowing every child to deeply engage with the process and bring their own story to life. By the end of each camp, the children had collaboratively created a beautiful stop-motion film - an expression of their inner worlds translated into moving images.
Building on this experience, we went on to facilitate Thamarai’s educators through an intensive two-week Training of Facilitators program. The facilitators were immersed in the Story Rainbow Pedagogy and given hands-on experience with stop-motion animation, enabling them to hold creative spaces with confidence and care. This has now evolved into a year-long program at Thamarai, where children will write and illustrate stories, create plays, dances, films, and animations inspired by the pedagogy - culminating in a storytelling festival that celebrates their collective creative journey.
We are deeply grateful to the executives, Bridget and Sangeetha, for their faith and support in starting a Story Lab at Thamarai.

Thamarai - Logo Animation
Pratap, Savithri, and Vinoth - the three facilitators who completed a 10-day intensive workshop—brought their head, heart, and hands together to create their very first stop-motion film: a cut-out logo animation for Thamarai Educational Projects.
